- Access Academy will be accepting students' registration to participate this year's COMC and CSMC/CIMC, see below. Relevant information will be posted soon here.
- For year 2026, CSMC/CIMC (Canadian Senior and Intermediate Math Contest) will be held on Wednesday, November 18th.
- COMC (Canadian Open Math Challenge) will be held on the last Thursday (29th) of October in 2026. Recommended for students who love the math challenges. -- COMC is the most prestigious (highest-level math challenge) that accepts open registration, and is the only qualifying contest that leads to the Canadian Math Olympiad and the IMO (International Math Olympiad).
- IMO 2026 has concluded in Shanghai, China on July 21st 2026. China won the first place. Canada stands at 13th place.
- 2026 Fields medal - the highest for mathematical research, has been awarded to the four mathematicians, who share the great honor. The prize winners are Yu Deng, John Pardon, Jacob Tsimerman and Hong Wang. Yu Deng and Hong Wang graduated from Beijing University many years ago; is working in USA. Tsimerman is working at the University of Toronto.
